On 9th Jan 2026, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) and X Social Group join hands to present "ARTOPIA Charity Drone Light Show" along the Victoria Harbour waterfront. This is more than a technological spectacle woven by 1,000 drones; it is a lyrical ode to life itself.
🎨 When Tiny Dreams Become Giant Stars At Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), there is a group of little artists fighting brave battles against illness. With pens in hand, they have drawn waving pineapples 🍍 , secret agents guarding the world 😎 , and majestic dragons and phoenixes soaring through the sky 🐉.
Tonight, utilizing cutting-edge swarm drone technology, we are "lifting" these imaginative strokes from grid paper into the night sky over the harbour. When you look up, you won't just see points of light; you will see the pure hearts of children—flying freely, unbound by physical limitations.
🦸♂️ Donning a Cape of Light, Becoming Their Own Hero Please keep a special eye out for the "Superhero" in the night sky, wearing a cape made of light and shadow.
In that moment, as the lights converge, we see the embodiment of a child's courage to overcome pain. This is not merely a pattern; it is their longing for the future. Through this symphony of art and technology, we hope to warm the heart of everyone gazing up at the stars.
